What is HEPA?
HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. In order to earn a HEPA rating, an air purifier
has to collect air particles as small as 0.3 microns. Exactly how small is that? 1,100,000,000

passing through the filter.
What is CADR?
CADR is the Clean Air Delivery Rate, or the amount of clean air that an air purifier can deliver
to a room. When choosing an air purifier for a specific room size, the higher the CADR the better.
If someone in your family is more sensitive to airborne particles, select a higher CADR rating than your actual room size. Whirlpool® air purifiers have very high ratings.
